Hi, we need to install a vent in our front room for our baxi bermuda gas fire/boiler and are thinking of installing one with a bit of a bend in it so its not quite so drafty but a builder says this will require a bigger hole. Does anyone know if that is the case??

Thanks

what does your fires instructions say? is it 100cm sq?
look on the screwfix website at item 87000, core vent, but you need a core drill with a 127mm hole cutter

you have to check which baxi bermuda you have ? it will tell you in the Manufacturers instructions which size vent you need, as you seem concerned with draught remember that if you use the draught excluder kit on some that it reduces the free area of the vent
