Having to have the pleasure of having a Warm Front Ideal system fitted, 4 yrs ago, isar he 24, it was fitted in a small room, pantry, and he wanted/did cut a hole in my door, and fitted a slidding vent, he should not of done that, should he??

ooo dodgy them slidding vents

you mean a hit and miss vent :?:

no he shouldnt compartment vents should be permenantly open

high and low level

gonna read the mi's now

edit
mick beat me to it
yup no compartment vent needed

without checking the MIs, I don't think the Isar needs a vent, if that is the case then there was no reason to cut a hole in your door but to say he SHOULDN'T do it is a bit strong, a sliding vent, I assume you mean one that closes, is not a suitable vent for a gas appliance.

The MIs actually state i didn't actually need any vent. I asked him that, and he said i had to have one. Yes, i never actually thought of it having to be permanantly open.
