Try turning the humidity star fully the other way.

Yes that's meant to happen to remove smells.
Maybe set the timer to 2 mins.
Remember the position of the humidity adjuster that is off.
Turn the lights off.
Slower turn the humidity adjuster slowly till the fan comes on and then move it back a bit.
That should be a good starting point for the adjustments.
You may find that after a shower the fan gets stuck on in which case adjust adjust it towards the off position a bit more till off
