Vertical Blinds tight to open

Hi,

I took some vertical blinds down from our bow window to decorate but after putting them back up they appear a lot more difficut to open. I have taken them back down and cant see anything obvious wrong with them. I have also sprayed silicon on the rail but this hasnt made any noticable impact. Has anyone got any idea what else I can try.

What do you mean by "open", rotate the veins or move them across the window? Can you post a pic of the top of the blinds & the rails?

Did you clean & lubricate gear & the rollers for the draw cord?

Hi, yes I used silicon spray and cleaned everything before putting back up.

Is it any different if you turn the blades through 90 & 180 degrees ?
