Vertical channels of shower screen

OK, I presume there is no obvious water externally in the bathroom? If not then there's usually 2 main suspects

1) the tray hasn't been sealed properly when it was installed and the water is working it's way under the silicone and down the wall edges
2) the waste/trap/pipework is leaking somewhere.

In this case there is a 3rd and that's that cracked tile.

No way of knowing really without breaking into the space under the tray.

The grout on the two up rights is cracked/ holed. And the channel hasn't been sealed to the wall internally. But not sure if really needs to be sealed internally

I'm worried that the tray hasn't been sealed to the tiles before the wall channel has been fit. This would also cause am issue

There should be a trap in the floor near the shower waste as they will of needed it to install it.

Usually the channel only needs to be sealed on the outside

Really sealing the tray to the tiles should be the last seal, the tray should be sealed to the wall and the floor, if it's sitting on that before the tiles are even fitted but if it's a new build I'd say there's a 50/50 chance that the tray wasn't sealed to the wall and the only seal would be the tray to tile seal. If that wasn't done or has now been compromised then it will leak through to the ceiling below and destroy the P5 flooring that undoubtedly has been used.

Not necessarily, the waste run and trap would have be installed and lined up with the tray, the tray then sat onto the floor on top of it and then the shower trap should have lined up with the tray waste, the top of the trap is then fitted from the top of the tray and screwed into the body of the trap.

There are only 2 options really if it's leaking onto the ceiling, either open up the ceiling below or lift the tray
