can anyone give me any tips on mounting a vertical radiator. i bought it from screwfix and it has come with only two L SHAPED hooks which screw into plugs provided. on the back of the radiator there are brakets both top and bottom which fit to the Lshaped hooks. ive contacted screwfix saying i am short of fixings. am i wrong and you only fit the rad using top hooks and use the feed pipes to secure the bottom of the rad, this doesnt seem right to me.

can anyone advise with constructive answers no shirty comments please!

You should have as many brackets as there are mountings on the back of the radiator. Nothing is ever fixed by the pipes.

Often sellotaped to the wrapping (easy to throw out) or actually to the radiator somewhere...

i have found with some manufacturers that there is only 2 brackets for
the top fixings and a stand off screw for you to attach near bottom for
levelling,

don`t know if that helps..........

I purchased a couple of 'designer' radiators just recently and the fixing system is the same. The extra brackets are to allow horizontal or vertical mounting options for the same radiator, so you're probably not missing any parts.
