vertical radiator orientation

Seems a very cheap way to glue the baffles in.

I would make a metal spike and hammer a hole through it and open it up to about 15 to 20 mm.

Vertical rads works even without baffles, but they will warm quicker with a flow diverter (baffle) on the flow side in order to divert the water on the top, no need of a second baffle, ONLY ONE BAFFLE ON THE IN SIDE NEEDED

With great trepidation, (and a high impact puncher hammer) I approached the exit-side baffle this morning. It came out with the lightest of taps - clearly designed to fall out easily. The rad is now mounted and producing excellent heat all over. Result.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to my thread -- you've helped me a great deal.

If it comes out that easily I expect the other one will follow it after a few heating/cooling cycles, then you'll have the same problem all over again!
