I need a tall & slim radiator to fit in a kitchen on a traditional 15 mm ch system.

Is there any reason why I can't fit a standard 1500 x 600 double radiator vertically instead of the normal horizontal orientation and pipe the flow and return to the lower two connections?

If so how would I hang it on the wall?

It might get warm and won't work very efficiently.
They are designed so that the water takes a path through which
heats the whole rad. The convector fins then help to heat the air by
convection. If you turn one through 90 degrees then the water will
have an easy path from one valve to the other.

Manufacturers make vertical rads designed fit for purpose.

Thats possible in theory!

You can buy Universal radiator brackets from various plumbing merchants.

The only problem is the hanging the radiator. You may be able to bodge around with the radiator to create grooves or such like into the existing hangers for the rad to hook onto, the brackets.

But the best bet would be to grind the paint off in four areas and weld four new strips or steel onto it.

Half hr job for someone
You wont know till you try it?
