Hi

Boiler works fine but about five minutes after it was installed the little plastic bits that hold the inspection cover to the boiler broke off!!

Since then I've tried gluing the lugs back on the cover, matchsticks and all sorts but nothing holds. This is obviously a major league design flaw.

I've searched for a new cover but no joy. Can anyone suggest where I can get another cover plenty cheap.

Many thanks

Longshanks

I don't know what you mean by inspection cover - and we install 20 of these models a year.

If it has snapped (and the lower door can be broken if the blue label advice telling you to push it to open is not heeded) I suggest you call Worcester Bosch customer service.

This is a assuming it is a legitimate installation by a professional of course. If you bought it on ebay and fitted it yourself, don't call them!

get your installer to sort it it's not for you to have to do? You pay enough get him back??

Hi

I'm referring to the white plastic door in the lower half of the front. You open it to check settings etc.

We did have it fitted by Corgi registered..... Was fitted in 2009.

We did follow the instructions but it still broke. I've got visions of these doors being propped up all over the country as this is such a popular boiler.

In relation to the parts supplier listed I've searched but I can't tell from the hits whether there the right parts. I'm also confused as they all refer to trade only. Finally they seem to range from £2.50 to £88.00!

Still somewhat confused.

Thanks

Hi

I don't like saying bump as I think it's rather rude. I'd prefer to say that I'm giving my message the oxygen of exposure.

Cheers
