vibrating pipes

I wish to stop a vibration from a CH pump being transmitted along feed and expansion pipes as it is causing an internal wall to act as a sound box.

Has anyone used those ~ 12" flexible compression fitting pipes to achieve isolation? Or is plastic any better?
