Videx 3120 wiring - Help needed! Please!

Evening all. I have just moved into a property with a entry phone system (I believe it’s a vivid 3121) the problem is that I can hear when someone presses the buzzer, I can also hear the recipient but they cannot hear me nor can I buzz them in to open the gate. I have attached a photo below and any help
Would be appreciated ( I have connected the white cable to number 6 but still have no joy.

It’s a videx 3111…it only needs 5 wires to work ….did it not work when you moved in ? Are you in a block of flats ?

It did not work when I moved in. It’s a new build house

@sparktmarka can you help and tell me what colours go where please?

There are no set colours ….try reversing no 1 and 5 ….if not you need to check colours at the other end
