I beg your pardon but I may have been mistaken.
I have never seen this small Vitocrossal, all the info we have here is for the larger commercial models from 87Kw upwards.
Vitocrossal is a massive boiler construction for a domestic 49Kw job; the Vitodens 200W is what would normally be fitted in the UK for this size of boiler, and is around half the cost. It is a bit bit like being told BMW make a 1600cc 7 series!
However, if money is no object and the 49Kw version is available and approved for the UK, it will be a cracking boiler.
The components appear to be the same as the commercial Vitocrossal but the heat exchanger is smaller front to back as you would expect. It is built to old school Viessmann quality standards, which cannot be a bad thing.
You need a lot of room for it, especially the burner side hinged door.
Apologies if I have caused you unnecessary consternation; I am surprised they make it in such a small version, our commercial Viessmann rep has never mentioned it. But then, they take 60Kw as the division between what the domestic and commercial reps cover, and the domestic guys don't cover Vitocrossal, so it probably lies in no-mans land as far as the technical reps are concerned, so no one pushes them.
If it is available in the UK, we could sell them to the customer that wants the best;
I don't why when I have moaned at Viessmann about dropping the 300 Vitodens, they didn't suggest using the small 300 series Vitocrossal. I have written to the sales director and marketing dept about that.
Thanks for the info! Learn something every day.
