Why do they need to rise? A good house will always be worth more than a bad one, just like a good car is worth more than a bad one.
i think he meant to say "prices are going up, no more".

pay more tax? that's if they're legal and declare it all.... but more people the NHS has to deal with, more refuse to clear... more housing to find.... more people who don't speak a common language and make you scared to walk out in your own town... more people wanting jobs and scarce resource ... in an already overladen country

I've already walked off several jobs when I've turned up on site to find foreign workers there, even though I know I am earning at least 5 times what they get
I don't work for people who employ foreigners.
I've got too much work at my expensive British prices, for British people who want a good job done and know they can get me afterwards in the rare event they need to, to worry about that,
