Vintage taps

Hi, I am thinking if purchasing some old bathroom taps from our local scrappy. The taps are most likely 1930's of solid brass and quite nice. The spindles seem to move OK but I am concerned as to wether I would be able to buy new washers and so on?? Any links or advise appreciated.

Shouldn't be a problem - all washers are available.
I'd look inside first though. The seats may need recutting (simple job) but that may have been done many times before, and there are limits!
