Hi folks. After a long search for new flooring for kitchen, living room and hall, we've pretty much settled on vinyl planks. It has a rigid core and claims to be suitable for irregular subfloors. We'll be putting this over ceramic tiles so it seems like a good choice. I'm going to fill and level the grout lines and use an underlay. Before we pull the trigger, can I ask if anyone has any experience of this product, good or bad? It's expensive but if it does the job that's ok.

Also, I'm thinking of installing it myself. I've no experience but reckon I'm a careful meticulous type and have plenty of time on my hands. Am i mad?

Thanks!!
