I've just installed karndean in my hallway but not loving the carpet to solid floor thresholds I bought.

I bought these https://www.diy.com/departments/goo...-to-flooring-trim-l-93cm/3663602529538_BQ.prd

And they are the right height on the carpet side but because the karndean isn't as thick there's a big gap on the vinyl side.

Is there something better to use for this or something to put between the threshold and the vinyl to block the gap?

What mm gap is it. Is the karndean on plywood or a screed . You could of needed a single bar ( nap )

That's the correct threshold. It's height adjustable (once). Hit the bar with a mallet until it touches the Karndean.

But use a length of wood as a striker bar or you will end up with mallet dimples in the bar.

This was the right answer, all sorted now. Thanks.
