Pir sensor enrolling.
Recently I had to disable a damaged sensor on my alarm system. I bought a replacement sensor and tried to enrol it using the same zone as the one removed. I get as far as Transmit Now but the replacement is not enrolled. I have tried both Normal and Tamper options to enrol.
Can anyone advise? I have both User and Installer codes available.

you need to delete the old one and enroll the new one using the installers code and go through due process its in the manual.

Thanks for your reply. Obviously I did not make my problem clear. I used the term 'disabled' damaged sensor when in fact I 'deleted' damaged sensor.

Then if you have the correct sensor enrolling the device should follow the instructions.

So what device are you trying to enroll, what menu are you in, and when does it fail.

Hi, as my original post, above, stated I am trying to enrol a replacement PIR, installer mode, following the correct enrol procedure. When my alarm panel display shows 'Transmit Now' I have tried both Normal and Tamper options to transmit - neither option places the box indicator after the Zone number. I guess that means the procedure has failed.
