Visonic Powermax Strange Fault

Hi Guys

I'm a new member just signed up today & was looking for any advice as regards a strange fault on the visonic powermax complete I install visonic powermax alarms & today was doing an install, so i started to install the door contact & the 2 pir's, I then proceeded to install the control panel via a fuse spur (like i always do) but for some strange reason the visonic led screen doe's not light up? It has nothing on the screen but if you press the OK button you just get a blue background? nothing on the screen at-all!

has anyone had this issue or is the unit faulty

Cheers for the reply, managed to get it sorted in the end, basically took the unit back to the supplier & they just replaced it for another, problem solved! But would be intrigued to know what the main problem would of been with the control unit etc
