Vokera Excel 80SP - Fan always running

Hi,

Should the fan be running constantly on my Vokera Excel 80SP?

If not, what is likely to be the cause of this?

Yes it should be running at a low speed and accelerate to high speed with a demand.

As above,if the slow speed was not operating then it will be a problem.

Actually a very good boiler but needs servicing from a person who understands these boilers. Just helps to prevent breakdowns.

Cracking boiler, have loads of often needed parts for first Call repairs
If you had specified Excel 80E, then you would not be bothered with this fan run issues

Thanks for the responses. I think it is stuck on the high speed as I can't notice an increase when under demand and it seems a bit much at idle. What's likely to the cause of this fault?

Something simple for an experienced engineer.

Part is available as far as I can see too.
