Vokera Excell 80SP boiler

I've just inherited a Vokera Excell 80SP bolier that's about 10 years old. Does anyone know how to increase the hot water temperature. I've tried adjusting the control obviously but no luck. The pressure gauge is on about 1 bar when on - is this too low?
also the water is warmer downstairs than up - do I need a pump?
 
Reduce the flow from the hot water tap.

Then get it serviced in the new year!

1-1.5 bar is ok.

Increasing the pressure won't affect the hot water temp.

You can't add a pump.

three prudent questions would be.....

what temperature is the mains water?
what temperature is the hot water?
how many litres a minute is it giving you from the tap at that temp?
