i have a Vokera flowmatic 20/80. Once it reaches temp it cuts out bout comes on again 20-30 seconds later It can than stay on for 20-30 seconds aometimes up to 2 minutes before cutting out again. it is 13 years old but i have only moved into house 12 months ago. Is this normal. Sometimes it buzzes when alight and sometimes it is quite.
How economical is this boiler? Should i get a new one. I have thermostats on rads.

Sounds like a air flow fault. (dirty fan/blocked venturi/partially blocked heat exchanger)

Needs a proper service.

Concur the boiler might need a proper service.

Burner going out could be due to lack of modulation (i.e. no low flame). Would not imagine Lanarkshire water is hard
