VOKERA LINEA 24 AAAARRHH problem

Hi Guys

New to the forum so be gentle. Having a very annoying problem with my boiler!. When i am having a shower, at first the water is nice and warm but when it gets to about 50c it goes freezing cold, then 10mins later gets nice and warm again and so on and so on!Got my wife to look at boiler when i was in the shower and burner goes off when water goes cold.This is also happening on the taps!. Boiler has been in for years and has been fine!.
Would love some advise as boiler engineer is coming out next week!

Probably the hot water heat exchanger is sludge up.

Do This:

Run a hot tap.

Watch the display on the front of boiler.

As soon as the boiler cuts out quickly turn the tap off.

The display will change to a higher number.

Go do it and let us know what the number is when you turn the tap off.

Forgot to add to my previous post!, the boiler doesnt display any error codes or go into lock out mode when the fault is happening!

Yeh but what is the temp reading just as the boiler cuts out?

Blocked plate HE and should be about £48.

They can be easily cleaned by anyone who knows anything about boilers!
