My boiler is showing an error code 01, I've tried to reset it several times but this makes no difference, the pressure is fine but the pilot light appears to be out.

Is there a sequence to relight the pilot like on other boilers, or is there anything else I can do myself before calling an engineer?

My partner has looked at it and can't see any way to relight the pilot, all the manual is saying is call an engineer, but I'd rather not fork out call out fees if there is something I can do myself.

Thanks in Advance.

01 is failure to ignite.

its probably going to be a gas settings issue or more likely the ignition pcb.

whatever it is its unlikely you will find a resolution here. best to call someone experienced to look at it.

Oh, thought that might be the answer. Looks like I'll be paying a call out charge after all.
Thanks!

get them to clean the fan and venturi properly too, that may save you another callout in the future.

Will do, might as well get it given the once over while I have someone out, thank you.

Vokera do a fixed price repair of £145+Vat.

BTW,I've had some of these where the gas iso valve (big yellow handle under the boiler) has been inadverantly turned off. I.E. someone putting a hoover away catches the valves and turns it off. In the open position the valve handle is parallel with the boiler and in the off it is at 90 degree to the boiler (quarter turn).
