thanks for reply nickso can I run the psv to waste in 22mm plastic via kitchen waste pipe and should in include tundish in the line

No, it should run outside in 15mm copper (usually, but some boilers can be plastic or 22mm copper) and ideally either down to approx 100mm from floor or kicked back to wall so if it discharges it does so safetly. Whats the pressure on the boiler ? (hot and cold). I think these boilers are filled with a 3 way tap underneath on the right hand side, make sure the handle is in the correct position.

never heard of a prv that is allowed to be piped in plastic; likely to buckle if 3 bar 110C steam/boiling water is blown through.
