hi, i had to replace the voke gas valve 5 months ago on this boiler and then was abroad. i left the system timed to come on for just 30 minutes a day in my absence and have returned to find it almost completely dead and with no pressure at all. it re-pressurised ok up to 1.5 bar but now there's no pump noise, no pilot, no ignition, nada. just a barely audible click when i try to over-ride timer and put it on manually. so the small programming unit appears fine, as is the power and the gas supply. i've heard it's very not good if you run these things on low (or no!) pressure. is it as bad as i think or worse? cheers

Try spinning the pump its probably seized. Look in FAQ section if necessary.

Its not sensible to leave a property unchecked for five months.

my family were checking. just not the CH. i had a wee look myself but can't seem to access the grundfos pump or find anything spinnable in it/on it. i'll get someone who knows in to have a look i think. thanks anyway, tony.
