Hi
does anyone know of a good link to a volt drop calculator for 3 phase cables above 25mm. I know tlc have one but its only for smaller sizes.

Sorry obvious question but have you looked in the regs as the tables are there (don't know what part off hand as my regs book is at work) There are 3 columns for cables over 25mm due to the fact that these cable have a reactive volts drop as well as a resistive one

Thanks for the info but thats the problem, can do calculations for under 25mm but cant remember how to apply values "r" "x" and "z". Its for a 3phase install but the supply run is 311 meters for a 100 amp supply.

There is a bit of an explanation and some formulae in the iee regs in appendix 4, part 7.
