Wall border tile problem

Hi all,

My misses wants to use a border pattern when i tile the bathroom, the problem is shes picked a border that is meant for floor tiles! So they stand about 2mm proud of the wall tiles, can i stick the tiles on with a extra thick layer of adeshive to bring the tiles out to the same level? If so any hints please?

Put your foot down and insist she takes them back and changes them for something else.
