I'm in the process of redoing my bathroom and I would like a wall hung toilet. What I haven't been sure of is how one is able to get to the cistern when it needs servicing in the future.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

And sometimes through the flush plate is all the access you get.....
I can't wait to attend to that one.

The flush button panel on mine is around 6" square. This is removed and all the components can be removed through it.

Unless you can get to the rear of the toilet, what will happen when the flush pipe starts leaking?

That's what I get called out to fix most of the time.

With top AND front access concealed cisterns the access hole is as big as you want to make it.
The only limitations are the size of the cabinet/false wall.
