Hello,

Installing a wall hung toilet but there’s a lot of flex at the bottom of the bowl when I put pressure on the bowl.

The wall will just have a plasterboard and plaster finish. No tiles.

I’m thinking that I need a timber behind the plasterboard where the bottom of the bowl hits. As the plasterboard is flexing into the frame and hopefully this will this stop the flexing and make the bowl strong.

Or should the bolts coming out of the frame be strong enough for there not to be any flexing.
