Hello - on the ground floor we have a single skin wall facing east which we wish to insulate before building library shelves on it. It will only be insulated up to 1.5 meters as there is window (PVC) above.
I was unsure about using this

or
http://www.diy.com/nav/build/insula...x-D-60mm-4-Board-Pack-10647759?skuId=11138401

I don't want to be more than 10 cm deep so not too loose too much internal space.

Have you got any advice? Am I missing something? What could I do differently for the best result?

As always thanks to you all guys!

Solid insulation requires less space than rockwool type, use osb board behind plasterboard and you can fit shelving easily.
Shop around b&q are expensive.

you could use something such a kingspan or if its just to add a bit more
stud wall of current wall then fill with the insulating and board over.
Oddly the timber yard i use supplies 50 or 100mm thick solid foam at a reasonable rate so handy when getting timber,
some one may correct me but 100mm insulation straight off wall in stud work then osb then plaster board would be 125mm ish
or the K18 you can get in most sizes up to 100mm
