Anyone know if an average lounge flat screen tv bracket can allow the tv to be easily moved forward to allow access to the socket/fused spur behind?

This is on a job that has been first fixed, but alas no isolator switch has been fitted in a convenient place to turn the tv off.

Though the tv will be left on, it seems unsatisfactory that it can't be turned off, particularly in these energy saving times, and when going on holiday.

Though a switched spur can fitted with a bit of effort, does the average bracket allow easy access to behind the tv?

Never had one, can't afford one!

Very much depends on the bracket. There are fixed slimline ones, tiltable, arms.. I got a tiltable one which allows me to swing the bottom of the TV out for access to the connections.
