wall out by 5mm - Bal Rapidset on wall before tile ?

Dot & dab plaster board wall without skim. The top 0.75 meter is out by about 5mm.

Can I put a coat of tile adhesive on to level the wall out then let it dry and then tile it as normal ?

You shouldn't need to do this for 5mm - you should be able to cope with it as you go. Either start thick or thin at the bottom depending on whether it's leaning towards or away from you (easier if it's leaning away - more care required if it's leaning towards you). Use a long spirit level to keep it all vertical. Use a mix of different size trowels & be careful the tiles with a thick bed don't slump.
