Hi,
The house I'm in was built around 1963 and I am in the process of redecorating the kitchen. On pulling paper off the walls some plaster has come off with it. Some of the surrounding area was a bit bose so i went about chipping it out to replaster those sections.
Sun was shining through the window and lit up all the dust I was generating then it struck me...did they put asbestos in wall plaster back then?
I finished filling the areas I'd already knocked out but didn't start any more.
I appreciate it will (probably) be impossible to tell from a couple of images if it is asbestos containing but given I have heehaw experience with what has been used where in buildings over the years I figure I would at least ask.
It is a pale pinkish colour.
The yellow is presumably paint from the past as that was the exposed side.
Thanks,
-Robert
