Wall plug query

Hi All,

I have a query about a wall plug,

I put in fischer 6mm duopower plugs (recommends 4-5mm screws) for a pair of blinds and then put the brackets in with 4.5x40mm screws and the screw head was protruding quite a bit so I swapped the screw for a 4.0x40mm screw. Brackets have stayed flush and tight and screw head is the right size. However screw if tightening now keeps turning so wondering if long term these will be fine (as they are right now - no movement etc) or if I should put the 4.5 screws back or change plugs (which typically means a new hole?)

Probably over thinking it but haven't had this query before.

Thanks

If your worried, remove the plug, fill the hole with no more nails, or similar, reinsert the plug and screw in 24hrs later
