Hi guys, Im am a plasterer, and yes my rule is dont plaster over wallpaper!!
However, in my own house I have striped the walls back and am left with a very stubburn backing paper, which will not come off easy, 1x1 sqm nealry all day with steamer!!! my only option is probally to dry strap it off, but that also is a long solution.
Now a builder I konw said just use BOND-IT, paint leave 24hrs no problems, especially as the backing is rock hard.
He said when this stuff came out they plastered over glass with it?!? is that true..
I have seen it used on wood on a curved surface so surely it will be over for what i need wouldnt you think.
So guys please give me your thoughts before i go ahead.
Cheers
Darren
