A group of travellers have parked their caravans in a residential street in Bristol. The mad part? They have another 30 days before they have to leave.

Apparently, seven people have signed a petition asking for them to stay because they reckon their presence makes the area safer

Might not be as strange as it sounds. The seven people who petitioned for the travellers to stay are possibly the last white, indigenous residents in the whole area. The area has plenty of 'hood rats', and the ROP are rapidly colonising housing that's been freed up as a result of white-flight. And bearing in mind that Stapleton Rd, AKA 'murder mile' isn't far away, I would have said that travellers will do a lot to re-introduce civilisation to the area.

White, soap-dodging crusties with dreadlocks and dogs on a bit of rope are quite harmless really.
