Wanted Sensiible Ideas!

cleats, drilbit, rawlplug, screws.. same as any other wall..

and no I'm not being funny..

yeah? try clipping it to a slag stone wall or a flint wall... ( we have garden walls round here that are made from chunks of slag from iron smelting... )

what are you clipping it to ( what's the wall for? )
if it's a garden wall then can you not bury it close to the wall?

I think it will depend on who built the wall and the standard of workmanship - personally I don't think a dry-stone wall is sufficient enough to hold a cable and you might end up pulling stones out but I'll stand corrected if.
A cable clipped to it will look awful anyway.

Property about a year old, the guy is putting log cabin in back garden and wants some power to it. I think it's so he can hide from the missus?
Anyway perimeter wall is dry stone and the area's been paved/flagged for a distance before I can go diggin in to his lovely garden and lawn.
He wasn't too happy about me telling about that!

he'll be even more upset whe you tell him you've got to pull up part of his patio as well...

you could always install a post at the cabin end and string it overhead on a catenary wire..

whats on the other side of the wall?

just wondered if its possible to get through the wall, drop into (grass?) other side of wall and likewise at the shed end

Is the paving bedded in cement, or just on sand? It might be possible to lift & replace (probably best done by a paving expert) without too much aggro.

hole in the garden, skateboard and some pit-props.. make like the great escape... tunnel under the patio...
