War Is Brewing.

We need to bring back Trump.
The military brass and the codemaker/button pushers deliberately kept Trump away from anything that could do such harm.
There was no greater puppet than Trump. The Republicans are still playing him and using him like a whore.

Putin might be a crook but is he insane?
If he tried to invade all of Ukraine a full scale war would break out and no one knows how it would end.

it would end with the Ukraine being part of Russia again a sort of satalite state with in the Russian federation

Just been reported a US Carrier, (Battle Group, Yanks have got 10 Nimitz class groups) is on its way, a lot of firepower, Carrier, 2 Subs, & 10 warships. Big sabre rattling.

Sounds like an exchange of cruise missiles and other bits and pieces including nukes. Bound to help the situation and extremely expensive if it happens. A rather long supply line as well - for one side against some one that is more capable than what they usually take on.

All I have heard is the USA has 8,500 troops ready for rapid deployment. It emerged that we have had 1200 in Estonia. Tanks too. Wonder how many elsewhere same with the USA. Might this be a factor that concerns Russia? Good reason for military manoeuvrers anyway.

The political observers comments the few times we hear them are more interesting. The west it seems will not agree to any of Russia's demands - what ever these actually are. Diplomats continue to work but a rather long delay and the USA still hasn't replied, ;) Bit like Boris and enquiries which also take a while but more crop up to keep it all in the news. Will Mrs Grey suddenly take longer as she has before.

I know the west views Russia as the bad guy, anything goes wrong, blame the Ruskies, & I`m not pro Russian, but this really is one sided, going nuclear for a corrupt & rotten ex soviet shi*hole is plain nuts. Ever since Patton & McArthur went ape the yanks have tried to destroy Russia`s reputation, & we, plus all the rest of the sheep follow. Blair should be tried as a war criminal for sending us into Iraq under false pretences, him & Bush lied through their teeth, & sent us to fight an illegal war. It`s always us who fight & die, send the politicians & leaders in instead.

The Ukraine is saying counties are increasing tensions, They are as well plus mainly the USA and UK who have joined in. Their stated intentions are not to send troops in if an invasion. More countries will join NATO - will they? ;) All need to fork out more too other than it seems the UK. They are an awkward lot and may interfere with what the USA wants to do. Remember cook up a report to show invasion was ok, also backed by the rest of the House - remember that aspect. The Tory agreed as well.

Some reckon 100,000 troops isn't enough for an invasion. Latest figures on armies.

C4's bombastic all gloom reporter appeared yesterday. Seems the soil isn't frozen enough yet. Possible maybe - a suggestion that the Russians wont want to mess up the Olympics for China.

Anything to keep the news going. That is what is going on.

They dug up a Russian observer. He reckons that 3 items that Russia wants are now on the table and that they will continue with what they are doing until all items are. Partial invasion somewhat open ended. There is a long term war going on in the Ukraine. What's the solution to that? Not much reporting other than one person worrying that it could turn into a civil war. It's pretty clear which side the west would back if they became involved. Maybe they are.

The facts.
Thankfully, at worst, the takeover of Dombas that is already 90% pro Putin
Even the above could be stopped forthwith is the ****-stirring uk, usa governments made
a promise to freeze Putin's assets and that of his top cronies. Trust me, taking the money they have
is the only thing that really hurts them.

Dictators like Putin and Co, the only way to stop their deadly behaviour is to hit them directly in their pocket.

Germans :ROFLMAO: will not provide weapons to Ukraine and has blocked Estonia from supplying German made howitzers

Poland expressed concerns and said Germany’s reaction was a great disappointment

I would say predictable ;) they will probably send there ambassador to the Kremlin to shine up Putins boots :ROFLMAO:

Rumour has it that The Kremlin is heated via German made Wolf boilers the least they could do is stop supplying spares for them :)

Even Ukraine is complaining about the Americans raising tensions by withdrawing their diplomatic staff.
Independent observers have said that Russia doesn't at present have the capability of carrying out a full scale invasion of Ukraine.
Whilst they have 100,000s troops on their border, they don't have logistical backup such as medical, transport, fuel ect to carry out a successful invasion.
Ukraine is quite a large country and any invasion would be met with fierce resistance and would probably degenerate into a debilitating insurgency for the Russians.

The news has started reporting around 100,000 troops. :ROFLMAO: Putin who was elected must have withdrawn 4.

Diplomatic talks are being held between the USA and Russia. For some reason one particular country isn't involved. There are others going on involving lesser players.

It seems that the Ukraine's current wars are going on in 2 places not one. Of late they are said to be Russian backed. They may be but any ex Russian state will have Russian weapons around as will any country they supply them to. Some may feel that a solution to Russia's worries must be found. In terms of the Ukraine's own wars - what can end those?

The USA appears to have a trading deficit with Russia. Germany has traded with them for some time. Recent figures

As I said on here over a week ago, there will be no mass invasion of Ukraine -- the Russians don't want that and nor does Putin. Aside from a few meetings and a daft list of demands not being met, nothing has changed since last week. The 100,000 figure has been reported since late November last year (which is when I started re-following) and the concentrations of military hardware is hundreds of miles from the border. If you look at maps detailing all of Russia's known deployments, you'll find they are spread across their whole frontier with two continents. The news just keep regurgitating the same story with a different angle and report ordinary manoeuvers in an alarmist way. The whole thing is for show for both sides to get demands and assurances met.

@ajohn -- it's "Ukraine", not "the Ukraine".

no mass invasion of Ukraine

that's a very limited forecast.

How about a 50-mile incursion? Is that "mass?"

A dozen towns?

One island?

Shooting down just one aircraft?

A few ports? A few naval ships? A couple of airfields? A region? One city?

Crossing the border and attacking or arresting the border police?

Then next year, a few more towns, a few more miles, the whole Southern coast?

domestic support for a full-scale invasion of Ukraine is very limited in Russia

Does "full scale" mean invasion and occupation of the whole country? Up to the Polish border?
