Can feet or similar be purchased to sit under the corners of bedroom wardrobes to make moving them easier ??

you can get hard plastic discs, i think they're called gliders, they work on carpets. It seems to be a sort of non-stick material. You may need to sand the feet smooth and clean them to make sure the disks stick well.
anyone have a link for gliders .... tried Argos & B&Q website but nothing threr
Carpet shops sell them.
I use 100mm glides, don't need fixing just slip under before moving.
