Warping issues - Laminated Pine Vs Tulipwood

I want to buy some stretcher bars for a painting and have had conflicting advice on which wood to choose them from. The problem I have is warping - it has to be minimised other it's a total waste of painting.

Some say tulipwood is more resistant to warping, and other say laminated pine is. Anyone got any advise?
