That is a problem, could you imagine me living amongst those who have never had any cosmetic surgery. My idea of hell.Wouldn't they only house very attractive migrants.

By quoting only part of the post you've deliberately lost the wider concept I expressed. What was dishonest. I quoted the only bit I found relevant. You were asking who gives a shyte about the star rating. That is exactly the point we have been discussing for several pages now. The dishonest people are the right wing press who are whipping up hatred by constantly referring to it as "four star luxury" when they know it is a lot more basic than that.
What's the name of the Hotel? That is the fear in the village that I live in too. Our village is very exclusive and this hotel is less than 3 miles away

Yeah right. What's the name of the Hotel?

So, the homes could not be sold. Which means the same people live there. So they're the problem.Yes.

Thought as much. A bit like your stint in the Army.Yeah right.

Personally I prefer to live amongst those who don't even consider contemplating cosmetic surgeryThat is a problem, could you imagine me living amongst those who have never had any cosmetic surgery. My idea of hell.
Mrs Motties mate can’t sell her flat and neither can anyone in their block because there’s a question mark over th cladding so the same people are living there. Would they be the problem according to you?So, the homes could not be sold. Which means the same people live there. So they're the problem.
Standard fayre for a defective building with an ongoing dispute. It's not unique to duff cladding either.Mrs Motties mate can’t sell her flat and neither can anyone in their block because there’s a question mark over th cladding

Hmm, Datchet. The three that I'm familiar with were hotels, ceased being open to the public for the duration of the contract, and at the end of the contract were extensively refurbished and resumed use as hotels, The Govt (us) paid for the refurb.
A fourth I'm aware of in Datchet village the future use is uncertain, there was a lot of press coverage some weeks ago about the locals being unable to sell their properties because what was once a prestigious village had become a 3rd world sh1thole.

Maybe not the cladding then but something else. Pretty sure it was to do with this affair:Standard fayre for a defective building with an ongoing dispute. It's not unique to duff cladding either.
'There's also a lot of tension with the travelling community who live up at the other end of the village.
