They are buildings which were formerly classed as four star hotels. But they have been stripped of all the services which got them a four star rating. They are now just buildings. As a result the asylum seekers receive a much more basic service. A couple of videos have been posted showing what it is like inside. If that is your idea of "luxury", then I feel a bit sorry for you. I would say they are living in "reasonable comfort".
