No, I do not approve of vigilante justice. I also said at the time, (commenting on ellal's post) that chasing someone down the street with a weapon, is not a lawful excuse for self defence.

The allegation is that within that counter protest there were masked individuals who were responsible for agitating the protesters with the intent to make it look like they were the violent ones. In a vid that koolpic posted it was said to prevent that, in the future the organisers are going to ban and take off anyone wearing a mask at their big london rally on 13th September. So anyone there with masks on are going to be the left wing activists and easily identified as such.
