Washer and Tumble dryer OR Washer Dryer???

Need some advice. Redoing our kitchen next week. So far we have kept two slots one for washer and other for dryer.

My better half is not happy as we are wasting space. According to him, these days you can buy washer/dryer as one machine from Bosch or Samsung. I need some advice whether we would be better of buying two separate machines or a single machine.

Are the separate units much better than a combined machine?

If you are suggesting single machine which would you recommend. We are a family of four.

Please help.

I would say separate appliances unless you are prepared to spend mega bucks.

2 people 2 washes a week no plan for kids no problem

washing cycle about 1h15 mins
drying washing in 2 parts as a load is to much 2x 1.15mins
or call it 4 hours a load

if you have a day set aside for washing say 3 washes then call it 2 days
