Hi,
I’m looking for some advice please..
My upstairs bathroom has a large cupboard (approx 2mx1m) in one corner that currently houses my boiler on one side. Would it be okay to put my washer dryer on the other side, sat in a tray and supported by a frame/brackets to minimise movement? The cupboard has doors on both sides that we would keep open whilst using. I understand it isnt advisable to put the two next to one another, but as the cupboard is quite large I was wondering if it might be okay or is it still a huge no-no?
Many thanks in advance,
Evie

I don't see why not provided you have adequate extraction if using the drier. Assuming it doesn't shake the whole house being (presumably) on a first floor.

Fine , shouldn’t need brackets if it’s mounted level on a stable floor.

If you do fit anything to limit movement of the machine it would be best to have something soft like rubber or cardboard between that and the surfaces of the machine.
