Thanks that's a nice tidy option. Are there any options to go longer than 3m with 40mm.

Regs allow you to upsize to 50mm after 3m, for another metre. However, there are longer runs than that out there I suspect. How far do you need to go, and where is it discharging?

Discharging into a drain need to go along a wall for about 3 meters then through a wall then a 90 degree into the drain, might also need a couple of other fittings to bring it away from the wall enough for the hole I have yet to drill, doubt I can drill close enough to the wall.

If only a short distance further I wouldn't worry too much. If using solvent weld pipework, I always fit a Tee outside, with a cleaning eye to allow future maintenance back along inside the building. Dog leg it with 45's if you can, elbows slow the flow down too much.
