Strangest problem ever! Have moved into new flat, and found that the washing machine hose is dripping fron both connections, 1 connection is at the isolatin valve and the other is to a threaded union, whichanother hose then connects on to the washing machine, Both leaks are from the hose connections.

I bought new washing machine washers, and still the leak persists! Any suggestions?

Undo the hose and squirt some washing up liquid on the washers and re-tighten.

You have fitted the washers?

Thanks for your reply. I actually did try that! I also tried some ptfe around the threads on the valve but still no joy! New hose possibly?

i tried ptfe as a last resort after about 5 goes without! I hand tightened then nipped up a bit more with some grips. Very strange

did you get the flat washers or the ones with built in filters ? the filter ones leak everytime i always change them for the flat ones

just normal washing machine hose washers, from Wickes. No filter in them. My flat mate is bringing in a nose hose, so hopefully that sorts it, hose with it's own washers in, maybe wickes' washers didn't 100% seal my older hose?
