Some one please tell me what is it with this machine? I had put my clothes in it , it was starting up and it just made a "tukh" noise like it was selecting and then it just stopped. I though it was a blown fuse, changed it, but nothing. The door light does not turn on now when I close the door and basically nothing is happening. There is still some water left in it so am confused as to what happen. Please some one help me out.

Door lock blown and taken out netruel supply on the timer, in other words replace the door lock and solder the blown track on the pcb

thanks rocks, I think i can replace the door lock, there is a video available on espares. However any suggestions as to how do i solder the blown track on the pcb??
I dont even know where the pcb is. Is there any video available on youtube or can you tell me where it actually is? btw I can do soldering myself so that will not be a problem. However am not sure where it is.

Pcb is the big knob that you turn to select the program. Remove the lid and then the screws round the dispenser. Pull knobs off then consol panel is off. 2 thick screws hold the pcb in place , the blown track will be at the front under the black connector the very first one.

hi again,

I have found the burnt track, I just want to know if i can use a soldering iron and the lead soldering wire and create a track which has been burnt? or can also use a pcb pen to just draw the track.

However i was looking on youtube and there are actual tracks which people use to lay them down on the circuit board, but that seems a bit complicated.

Does it matter? because I am thinking of using a pcb pen on the pcb? pls advise.

thanks again.
Dan

Just solder a thin piece of copper wire over the blown track
