Hi

I had a new kitchen sink fitted yesterday, the plumber told me he had turned the main water tap off as a precaution - I was out when he fitted the new sink.

I turned the main water tap on and everything worked as expected.

This morning, i tried to use the washing machine for the first time since the fitting of the sink......For some reason the washing machine wont fill up, its on the same cold water feed as the sink, so I cant understand why its suddenly not working.

All I can hear is the washing machine motor...

Any ideas ?

Ahh...you mean the valve at the back of the washing machine ?

I have not checked this.......will do now and report back..

Is the valve turned on?

There is no valve on the back of the washing machine.....however i did notice that the water pipe that feeds in to the washing machine had a perfect kink in it - this must have been stopping the water...

Seems to be working now....thanks
