less than a year old. is this a normal amount of vibration/rattling for a washing machine? see video here:
it only does this for ~5-10 mins at the end of a cycle

i've moved it around recently to get a door on it and can't remember if it vibrated this much beforehand

unrelated but there is a leak from the bottom of the front door as well...

No it's not normal, something is wrong.

Balancing it better with a bit of cardboard under one of the legs may help a bit, but it sounds as though something has broken.

That's not normal vibration.
Possible causes:
Not all feet touching floor,
Excessively unbalanced load,
Machine case touching a kitchen unit,
Worn/missing vibration damper,
Loose/broken component.

When I designed the machine to make washing machine weights, we tried all sorts of methods to identify a thin block. But some would slip through, and the flashing would mean when fitted they seemed firm and tight, but the flashing would crumble, and the weight would become loose, it would seem likely that is what has happened.

Possible the weight used to balance has broken leaving it unbalance , an unbalanced load would normally prevent it from spinning . Dampers may have failed .Have you checked door seal for damage ? Would cause a leak , or vibration may have loosened pump connections.
Contact supplier as it’s under a year old.
If you pull it forward and there is any sign of case damage ( dented outwards) would also suggest dampers failure .
